All product and delivery information may be found on the website and we would appreciate your patience at this time - we are experiencing a higher volume of orders than normal and orders could take a longer time to arrive due to Postal delays.

Delivery Charges
Mainland UK
All orders £25 and under have a delivery charge of £3.95 unless the weight of the package is 500g or more or you have requested between 5 and 8 swatches in which case it falls into the next category
All orders over £25 and less than £65 have a delivery charge of £4.95 (before any offer deductions/discounts) unless the weight of the package is 1.2kg or more in which case it falls into the next category
Orders £65 and above or over 2kg in weight are sent by courier and have a delivery charge of £6.95 inc vat
You will only be charged this once however many items in your order unless the weight falls into the category below for larger items.
Larger items/orders weighing between 6-10kg have a delivery charge of £10.25 and 11-20kg have a delivery charge of £12.60
Goods will be despatched on receipt of full payment - cleared funds in the case of cheques.
You can choose a different delivery address at checkout - useful if you are out all day, we can deliver to your office or neighbour
Express Delivery
During this Covid Lockdown period, unfortunately we can't guarantee next day delivery with Royal Mail or TNT so please bear with us and we will get your stripes to you as soon as possible.
Please add express delivery to your basket in the checkout process and also when instructed to do so on a product page, where we may say - add express delivery and we will try to expidite your order and give a shorter expected delivery time.
When things get back to normal the following will apply
Fast track orders are welcomed - add Express Delivery at checkout. This shows as a surcharge on top of our standard delivery charge. This additional surcharge is dependant on weight for Express Delivery within 24 hours if received by 12pm on Mon-Thurs (Mainland UK addresses only) or £20 to Northern Ireland, Highlands and Islands.
Please telephone us (Our Office Lines are Open 10am - 5pm Mon-Fri except Bank Holidays) if you need Saturday delivery. You can add saturday delivery to your basket - this includes next day delivery plus the saturday surcharge
Orders for express delivery received over the weekend will be dispatched on Mon for Tues delivery.
Please note our courier TNT does not guarantee next day delivery to parts of Cornwall, Anglesey, West Wales.
Express delivery is not available for Deckchairs, Directors Chairs, replacement directors chair covers and replacement deckchair slings and other made to order items or Sun Shelters.
Please allow 7 - 14 working days for UK delivery.
Non Mainland UK, Northern Ireland, Highlands and Islands Shipping Costs
Unfortunately we are charged more to deliver larger orders to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Islands - so please if your order qualifies for courier delivery in the basket call us on 01244 336387 (Our Office Lines are Open 10am - 5pm Mon-Fri except Bank Holidays) or email us with your order requirements as there may be additional postage costs - Thank you
The Channel Islands Shipping Costs
Please note We will refund the VAT charged on any online orders to the Channel Islands, Guernsey and Jersey as we are unable to remove it from the checkout process.
- Orders less than 2kg will be delivered by Royal Mail.
- Orders 2kg and over (deckchairs(7kg), directors chairs(6kg), event stools(2.2kg), luggage racks, some cushions, larger combined orders etc) will be delivered by TNT
- 2-5kg = £35.00
- 6-10kg = £40.00
- 11-20kg = £45.00
- At checkout you will only be charged courier standard delivery if your order is over 2kg(see Mainland UK prices above), so we may use the VAT and delivery already paid to cover some of the cost and we will send you a Paypal Invoice for any additional shipping costs due.

Republic of Ireland Shipping Costs
Unfortunately we are charged more to deliver orders to the Republic of Ireland - so please call us on 0044 1244 336387 (Our Office Lines are Open 10am - 5pm Mon-Fri except Bank Holidays) or email us with your order requirements as there may be additional postage costs - Thank you
However you can order online, we will refund any VAT charged as we are unable to remove it from the checkout process. We will also get a price for shipping for you - the VAT amount paid and delivery charges already paid may cover the additional cost, if so we may use that instead of refunding, but if not we will send you a Paypal Invoice for any additional shipping costs due.
International Orders & Shipping Costs
We are able to post anywhere worldwide outside the UK and the cost may be quite reasonable - please email us your requirements for a shipping price to any Non-UK destination, which will be based on volumetric weight, as the price may differ from that shown in the basket.

International orders placed online on our UK site will be charged an International Supplement in addition to our standard delivery charge depending on the value and weight of your order which will cover the cost for most orders to most European Countries. However on larger items and orders such as Deckchairs and directors chairs to some countries there maybe additional shipping costs due - we will weigh for shipping and give you a quotation - please Contact us via email or phone +44 1244 336387 We could then send a Paypal request for you to make a secure payment online.
Your order will be held until payment has been received for the additional shipping. We will notify you of these costs.
Please note if you place your order via our UK site www.thestripescompany.com whilst abroad for delivery to the UK you may still be charged the international supplement in addition to our standard delivery charge - Please let us know if this is the case and we will refund you
Unfortunately we cannot ship Sun Shelters out of Mainland UK.
